A commission usually starts pretty simple:

Sometimes it’s a feeling you want in a room. Sometimes it’s a color you can’t stop thinking about. Sometimes it’s just knowing you want something, but you don’t know exactly what.

From there we go back and forth a little to shape the idea. I will ask a few questions if needed and translate everything into a clear direction for the painting.

Once that feels right I start the work. The painting builds up slowly in layers in an intuitive way.

When it is finished and fully dry I carefully pack it and send it to you!
